Soothing textures combined with soft and cohesive beats is the prime highlight of Ac Thervil by Phlecalx.
Hailing from Sydney, Australia, his 5 year quest in music production has taken him to many different parts of the electronic music universe,
with Ac Thervil landing straight on the ambient planet. Combining lush and harmonic melodies with IDM influenced drums,
many of the tracks create beautiful and intense atmospheres very quickly. Phlecalx agrees that the term "IDM" is silly,
and much prefers the DFR alternative "Electronic Listening Music", as Ac Thervil is best experienced in a more calm, passive manner,
rather than in an aggressively rave-y state. This doesn't exclude the possibility of dancing to this album,
as many rhythms present are quite enjoyable, and one could rave intensely to it.
Tracks like "anasick general" immerse you and put you in an ambient state of mind, while softly peppering techno and IDM inspired drums on top.
"bitterbrush" features a harsh, yet seemingly retrospective melody, with soft drums carrying the rhythm, as well as background pads to accompany it.
"rovq7" is the most expansive track on the album, sprinkled with many soft melodies, as well as an intensely oppressive bass melody, it is an an ambient
journey across multiple galaxies, it can really carry your mind to an otherworldly place. 
The album is a great fusion of ambience and rhythm, and I am sure that you will enjoy it!
